Harley's advice

Harley, grandchild #5 and I were playing dolls.
Harley : "my doll has a broken heart."
Me: "oh no! How do you fix a broken heart?"
Harley : "you have to get a hug."
Me: " who hugs you when you get a broken heart? "
Harley : " you, papa, daddy and mommy.  Grammy I think that papa should hug you. "

Steps for using the toilet, #2 that is

Maddox, grandchild #3 and I were out running errands.

Maddox: "Grammie, I have to poop!"
Me: "Ok we will go in Subway to get a drink and you can use the potty there."

We go into the ladies room.
Maddox proceeds to dis-robe from the waist down.
Shoes, socks, shorts and underwear!

Me: "Maddox why are you getting undressed?"

Maddox: "To go poop. This is how all us boys go poop!"

Sure enough he was telling it like it is.
The other 3 boys do the same thing!!

Brown......

Maddox and Austin were having a conversation while waiting on their corn dogs a Sonic:

Maddox: "Austin do you know what happens to our food after we eat it?"

Ausin: "Yep it turns into poop!"

Maddox: "You know what is really cool?"

Austin: "What?"

Maddox: "We turn our poop brown!"

My Little Doctor

 Maddox grandchild #3: "Grammie I don't want you to get old and die. You need to take your medicine to stay alive. Did you take you medicine?"

Grammie: "Yes Maddox I did." I didn't know what else to say...........

I am Grammie to the King of...........................

 Today I learned from Jaxon, Grandchild #2 that I am the Grammie to "King of the Underwater Handstand!!!"

I would say he is right!

It CAN snow in June.......inside

 I was watching two of my grandsons for 4 days while their parents went on their annual float trip (aka "Whiskey Tango").  I was doing things around the house.  The boys: Aidan, grandchild #1 and Austin, grandchild #4 where getting restless. (They where wanting to go swim) I had told them to give me just one more hour and then we would swim.  I was in another room, they were in the living room.  Aidan calls out "Can it snow in the summer Grammie?" I shout back, "no I don't think so." I was wrong.
Both of the little darlings got a roll of TP.  They made it "snow in the summer."  They threw the TP up and watched it fall back down. They made "snow angels" and even had a "snow ball" fight.

The best part of their "summer snow" was how much fun they had, and I had watching them. And as a bonus they even picked up all the "snow", put in a trash bag and set it by the toilet. Aidan informed me, "it's still good to use, after all you do is wipe your butt with it."
